A vintage inspired crochet sweater with a classic 1940’s shape with more width to the shoulders. This is a great crochet pattern for beginners too and it is very simple.

Description

WHAT IS IT
A crochet pattern where you learn how to crochet this simple, no-sew, easy to adjust sweater. Good for beginners and the whole sweater is made in one.
This sweater is inspired by the vintage crochet from the 1940’s where the crochet tops and sweaters had a particular shape to them – they were wide at the shoulders. I find them very flattering, especially if you, like me, have small or narrow shoulder and need more action on the shoulder area!

For the white one I used Drops Belle (cotton, viscose, linen blend) in size 3, DK/worsted and size 6 mm hook. It’s made in size medium but with a shorter front/back panel and therefore also tighter sleeves.
The bordeaux sweater is made in wool and is size small. Both seen on size small.
