Description
WHAT IS IT
A crochet pattern for a tight-fitted rib top with long or short sleeves – either attached off shoulder or on the shoulder. The shoulder edge has elastic to make sure it fits well and the sleeve doesn’t go anywhere.
The pattern is made to measure so you can make the size, length and sleeve length exactly how you want it.
This is a really simple pattern especially because there are no increases or decreases. Remember to try on as you go, to make sure you get the exact fit you want. For at tighter fit, choose to subtract more, for a more relaxed fit, subtract less.
You will also get a video showing how to attach the sleeves as well as how to insert the elastic. The video is in the pdf as a link.
A big thank you to my testers: @cute.pastels.stitches (striped, long sleeved) @aliceimfadenland (striped & pink, short & long sleeved), @dora_and_her_hook (grey, long sleeved) and @linebadine_ (green and white, long sleeved).

hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet

MATERIALS
2 pieces of elastic (measuring 5 mm in width). Link here (affiliate)
3 mm hook
Cotton & bamboo blend
Size 2/sport/baby
Yardage: 50 g = 118 m
I used 628 m for my long sleeved, off-shoulder top and 254 m for my short sleeved, on shoulder top.
Add/remove 25 g/59 m g for each size (12 cm in width, 0,5 cm in length) going up/down.
You can also use regular cotton in superfine yarn. If you choose other types of material and hook you will just have to make sure to measure on your body as you go.
MAKING CHANGES TO THE TOP
If you use a smaller hook and yarn size or a less stretchy yarn material, you will probably have to subtract less from your measurements.
The same goes if you use regular dc without rib (as I did for the short sleeved top). The pattern will instruct you if you want to make some of these changes to the top.
Remember always to try on as you go.
